The Death of Moses

-
Deuteronomy 34 Moses died on Mount Nebo and was buried in the valley of Moab. It is a good thing that no one knows where he was buried, other wise, someone would have likely turned it into a shrine and a place of pilgrimage. This would have contradicted the commandments that Moses gave the sons of Israel. Moses was aloud to see from a distance the land which the Lord swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob but he could not set his foot on the land because he sinned against the Lord. When Moses died, the sons of Israel wept for him for thirty days in the plains of Moab; however, the days of morning and weeping came to an end. I have written a few tracts since but I have never improved upon that original tract; therefore, I decided to bring it back.    This morning I read Joshua 16-20. I had never thought about it before but realized while reading the text, the land of Canaan was essentially divided between the sons of Joseph to the ...

Dear Neighbor, All in the world is not right because we are not right. Everyone clamors for themselves and many are run over in the process. There is a day coming in which God will judge the world in righteousness through Jesus Christ, whom God has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Jesus Christ from the dead. Every knee shall bend and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.  Who is your father? Is your father Adam or God? We were all born of Adam. For this reason Jesus said, “You must be born again. You must be born from above. You must be born of God.” The children of God are born of God. God is Spirit; therefore, the new birth is of the Spirit. The Spirit brings to life whom God wishes.  Romans 9:15 (NASB) For He says to Moses, “I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I HAVE MERCY, AND I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON WHOM I HAVE COMPASSION.” God chooses the vessels of mercy. We should note that all deserve the wrath of God but f...
